Overview

Agent Carl: No Time to Diet is a 3D stealth platformer game about a pug navigating a three-floor building full of cats. The game combines classic stealth mechanics with platforming sessions and is packed with shortcuts and multiple ways to approach the action.

Development Team

This project was the longest and most ambitious of the academic year at Digital Bros Game Academy. It involved 14 team members:

  • 4 programmers
  • 4 designers
  • 3 3D artists
  • 3 concept artists

Role and Contributions

During the project, I contributed in the following ways:

  • Developed a flexible third-person camera system with collision handling
  • Designed the logic behind the Game Manager and other entities.
  • Created the UI (menus, HUD, on-screen visuals).
  • Implemented the character controller and input system.
  • Built a customizable gadget system and gadgets’ behaviors (e.g., grappling hook, cheese gun, disguise).
  • Developed a mini-map and radar for collectibles, enemies, and objectives.
  • Implemented an outline shader using Unity’s HDRP.
